    Information We Collect Automatically

Whenever you visit or interact with the Website, Studio 3 and/or its service providers may use a variety of technologies that automatically or passively track or collect information about how the Website and/or the Studio 3 Products and Services are accessed and used (“Usage Information”). Usage Information may include, in part, browser type, device type, operating system, the page served, the time, the preceding page views, and your use of features or applications on the Website, as well as email deliveries, email opens and email click-throughs. This statistical data provides us with information about the use of the Website and the Studio 3 Products and Services, such as how many visitors visit a specific page on the Website, how long they stay on that page, and which hyperlinks, if any, they “click” on. This information helps us keep the Website fresh and interesting to our visitors and tailor content to a visitor’s interests. Studio 3 may associate Usage Information with you as a specific and identifiable person and will treat that as Personal Information.

Studio 3 also automatically collects your IP address or other unique identifier (“Device Identifier”) for the computer, mobile device, technology or other device (collectively, “Device”) you use to access the Website. A Device Identifier is a number that is automatically assigned to your Device when you access a website or its servers, and our computers identify your Device by its Device Identifier. We may use a Device Identifier to, among other things, administer the Website, help diagnose problems with our servers, analyze trends, track users’ web page movements, help identify you, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. The technologies used on the Website to collect Usage Information, including Device Identifiers, include but are not limited to:

Cookies. Cookies are data files placed on a Device when it is used to visit the Website. Studio 3 and its service providers may place cookies or similar files on your Device for security purposes, to facilitate site navigation and/or to personalize your experience while visiting the Website. Cookies allow us to collect technical and navigational information, such as browser type, time spent on the Website and pages visited. Cookies allow us to select which of our features, products and services are most likely to appeal to you and display them while you are on Website. If you would prefer not to accept cookies, you can change your browser settings to notify you when you receive a cookie, which lets you choose whether or not to accept it; or set your browser to automatically not accept any cookies. However, please be aware that some features and services on the Website may not work properly because we may not be able to recognize and associate you with your Studio subscriber account(s). In addition, the offers we provide when you visit us may not be as relevant to you or tailored to your interests.

Pixel tags. A pixel tag is a transparent graphic image (sometimes called a clear GIP, transparent GIF, web bug, web beacon or tracking beacon) placed on a web page or in an email, which indicates that a page or email has been viewed. In addition, a pixel tag may tell your browser to get content from another server. The pixel tags on the Website are set only by companies we work with and supervise.

Email Data. We may track email that you open and links that you click within emails you receive from us. Log Data. Our servers automatically record information ("Log Data") created by your use of the Website. Other actions, such as interactions with links on the Website, may also be included in Log Data.

Clickstream Data. When you access the Website, we may track your session data based on your log-in information, or we may place a small file called a “cookie” on your hard drive. If you become a subscriber to the Magazine, Studio 3 may use your log in or cookies to authenticate your identity when you visit the Website, collect the data generated in connection with your activity on the Website (“Clickstream Data”) and to personalize your user experience on the Website, including display of the Content Sponsor's (as defined below) information. We may track the Clickstream Data of subscribers on the Website and may obtain non-personally identifiable information from users, such as the number of visits to the Website that a certain user has made, the movement of the user through the Website, and the searches that the user conducts on the Website. Please note that Studio 3 does not collect Clickstream Data on any websites other than the Website. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some subscriber content, features and services may not be fully available to you if your cookies are disabled. We may use electronic images known as "clear GIFs" (sometimes called "transparent GIFs", "Web bugs", “pixel tags” or "beacons") that allow us to track general user traffic patterns. Studio 3 also automatically receives and records information from our servers and from your browser, including your IP address, the time, and information about the page you requested.

Google Analytics. Studio 3 may use Google Analytics to help understand the use of the Website. Google Analytics allows Studio 3 to collect, among other things, the information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, including cookies and your IP address.
